Genuine Riccar RLHC-6 bags are the charcoal-lined, self-sealing HEPA media bags for the SupraLite R10S, R10P, R10CV and R17 lightweight uprights. Each box holds six bags with Riccar's green color-coded collar. The charcoal layer helps control vacuum odors, and Riccar says the media meets the HEPA standard of 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns.
Fits these Riccar vacuums
Not for the SupraLite Entry R10E. The R10E and the older RSL models use Riccar RSL-6 paper bags or RFH-6 Type F HEPA media bags instead.
Not sure which bag you need? R10S, R10P, R10CV and R17 bags have a green collar that clicks into a green bag dock behind the zippered bag cover. The model number is on the rating label on the vacuum. Send us your model and we'll confirm the fit before you order.

When to replace it

Bag: Riccar's R10S manual says to change the bag once a month or when it's two-thirds full.

To change it: unplug the vacuum, unzip the bag cover, and pull the green collar tab away from the vacuum. Slide the bag out, which seals it, and throw it away.

To fit a new bag: slide the bottom of the collar into the holder until it clicks, push the top up until it snaps in place, tuck in the corners and zip the cover closed.
A box of six covers about six months at Riccar's once-a-month guideline.
Expert tip
"Pull the old bag out by the collar tab, not the bag body, so it seals before it leaves the vacuum. If you've picked up fine powder like carpet freshener or drywall dust, change the bag early. Fine dust clogs the media long before the bag looks full, and you'll feel it as weaker suction."

Will these bags fit my Riccar R10E?
No. The R10E SupraLite Entry takes RSL-6 paper bags or RFH-6 Type F HEPA media bags. RLHC-6 bags are for the R10S, R10P, R10CV and R17.
Do these fit the Riccar R17?
Yes. Riccar lists the R17 SupraLite Premium with the R10CV, R10P and R10S on the RLHC-6 box.
How often should I change the bag?
Riccar recommends once a month or when the bag is two-thirds full, whichever comes first.
Can I use generic bags in my SupraLite?
Riccar's manual says to use genuine Riccar bags. A bag that's the wrong size or thickness can leave gaps at the collar and lower suction and filtration.
