When to replace it

• At the start of a new project. A fresh needle gives you a clean stitch on new fabric.
• When it's bent or damaged. Never sew with a bent or blunt needle. It can skip stitches, snag fabric or break.
• When stitching changes. Skipped stitches, puckering or a popping sound as the needle enters the fabric are signs to change it.
