A dependable dial machine with a full set of feet

• One-step buttonholes. Place the button in Automatic Buttonhole Foot R and the machine sizes the buttonhole to it. Foot C handles buttons over 1 inch manually.
• Settings at a glance. The Sewing Guide Reference Chart on the machine recommends the foot, stitch length and width, thread tension and presser foot pressure for your fabric and technique.

Expert tip

"When an Emerald's stitches look loopy, it's almost always threading. Raise the presser foot before you thread so the thread drops into the tension discs, and make sure the needle is at its highest point. Match the needle to the fabric too: a 90/14 or heavier for denim and canvas. Then check the Sewing Guide Reference Chart for the tension setting."
