Miele SBB 400-3 Parquet Twister XL Floorhead 7101160 for Guard, Blizzard and Boost Vacuums

The genuine Miele SBB 400-3 Parquet Twister XL is a 16-inch-wide hard-floor brush for Miele canister vacuums. Soft natural bristles glide over parquet, laminate and other sensitive floors, and the double Swivel Neck lets the wide head turn and reach under furniture. Miele lists it for the Guard L1, Guard M1, Blizzard CX1 and Boost CX1. You get one floorhead, Miele part number 7101160.

Classic C1 or Guard L1 Electro? Miele's US site doesn't list the XL for these models. Ask us before you order, or choose the standard SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister, which Miele lists for every Classic C1 and Guard L1.

Not for Miele cordless sticks. The Triflex and Duoflex use their own floorheads.

What's in the box

The wand and hose aren't included. The XL connects to the end of your vacuum's existing wand.

How to use it

• Attach it: switch off the vacuum, take your current floorhead off the end of the wand, and push the Parquet Twister XL on until it locks in place.
• Set the power: use your vacuum's hard-floor setting if it has one.
• Work in long passes: the wide head suits open rooms and hallways. In tight spaces, the narrower Parquet Twister is easier to steer.
• Clean the bristles: pull out hair and dust balls that collect in the bristles so they keep contact with the floor.

Expert tip

"The XL earns its keep in big open rooms with wood or laminate floors. Pets leave hair caught in the bristles, so pull it out after each session and the brush keeps sealing against the floor. Keep the head on bare floors and use a turbobrush or AllTeQ floorhead for the rugs."

Will it fit my Guard L1 or Guard M1?

Yes. Miele lists the Parquet Twister XL as an accessory for the Guard L1 AllFloor, Cat & Dog, Nordic Blue and Allergy, and for the Guard M1 range. For the Guard L1 Electro, ask us first.

Will it fit a Classic C1?

Miele's US site doesn't list the XL for the Classic C1. Send us your model before you order, or choose the standard Parquet Twister, which Miele does list for the Classic C1.

XL or standard Parquet Twister?

Both have natural bristles and a double Swivel Neck. Choose the XL for large open floors and the standard SBB 300-3 for smaller rooms and tight spaces.

Can I use it on carpet?

No. It's made for bare floors. Use the STB 305-3 TurboTeQ or an AllTeQ floorhead on rugs and carpet.
