Miele SFD 10 Long Crevice Tool, 11.5 in, for Miele Canister Vacuums

The genuine Miele SFD 10 is a long, slim crevice nozzle with an 11.5-inch reach for deep, narrow gaps: between couch cushions, beside the stove, along car seat rails and down the side of the washer. It pushes straight onto the handle of any Miele canister vacuum. Miele also suggests it for cleaning the lint filter area of a tumble dryer.

Not for Miele TriFlex or Duoflex cordless sticks. Miele lists the SFD 10 as compatible with all its vacuums except cordless sticks. For a TriFlex, Miele makes the HX-CN crevice nozzle instead.

How to use it

• Push the round end of the nozzle firmly onto the end of your canister's handle. No adapter is needed.
• Turn the suction down for curtains, fabric seams and other light items so they don't get pulled into the tip.
• Need more reach than 11.5 inches? The SFD 20 flexible crevice tool reaches 22 inches and bends around obstacles.

Will the SFD 10 fit my Miele TriFlex?

No. Miele lists the SFD 10 for all its vacuums except cordless sticks. TriFlex and Duoflex owners need the HX-series crevice nozzles Miele makes for those vacuums.

Does it fit older Miele canisters?

Yes. Miele states it's compatible with all Miele vacuum cleaners except cordless sticks, which covers current Guard, Classic, Complete, Blizzard and Boost canisters as well as earlier models.

How is it different from the crevice nozzle that came with my vacuum?

The SFD 10 is longer, at 11.5 inches, so it reaches deeper into gaps between furniture, appliances and car seats.

Should I get the SFD 10 or the SFD 20?

Choose the SFD 10 for a rigid nozzle with good reach. Choose the SFD 20 if you need 22 inches of reach and a bendable section for gaps under or behind appliances.
