QUICK PICKUP SPECIALISTS

Each Riccar specialty vacuum is designed to help you tackle quick cleanups with ease.

The genuine Riccar Fur-Get-It Pet Hair Remover Tool (part RPET-TOOL) slides onto the wand of Riccar uprights that have onboard tools and of most Riccar canisters. A rubber squeegee and Riccar's patented felt cylinder lift pet hair from upholstery, stairs, car seats and floors so the vacuum can pull it away, and the tool cleans itself as you go.

Fits these Riccar vacuums

• Riccar R27CV Cordless Upright Vacuum, plus the R27 Deluxe and Premium
• Riccar R30D Tandem Air Deluxe
• Riccar R40P Tandem Air Premium Pet (it comes with this tool, so this is a spare)
• Riccar Vibrance, Brilliance and Radiance uprights with onboard tools
• Most Riccar canister vacuums, except the Prima

Not for Prima canisters. The Prima has a larger hose diameter, so it takes the Prima Canister Fur-Get-It tool, part RPET-TOOL.CAN. If you own a Simplicity vacuum, look at the Simplicity Pet Hair Beware tool instead.

Not sure it fits? The model number is on the rating plate of your vacuum. Compare it with the list above, or send us your model and we'll confirm the fit before you order.

What it does

• Squeegee and felt cylinder. The rubber squeegee and patented felt cylinder lift pet hair out of fabric so the vacuum can whisk it away.
• Cleans itself. Riccar designed the tool to clean itself automatically, so there's no hair to pick off the cylinder by hand.
• More than the couch. Riccar lists home furnishings, upholstery, stairs, flooring and car interiors.
• Small and light. It's under 5 inches wide and weighs about 1 lb, so it reaches into chair corners and stair treads.

Why buy from Imagine Sewing & Vacuum

• Authorized Riccar dealer. Every tool is genuine Riccar stock.
• Vacuum specialists since 1922. Our factory-trained technicians service Riccar vacuums, so we know which tool each model needs.
• Free shipping on orders over $299.

What's in the box

• 1 Riccar Fur-Get-It Pet Hair Remover Tool (RPET-TOOL)

How to use it

• Attach it. With the vacuum off, push the tool onto the end of your Riccar wand.
• Clean. Turn the vacuum on and work across the fabric in short strokes. The squeegee and felt cylinder loosen the hair, and the vacuum carries it into the bag.
• Store it. When you're done, pull the tool off the wand. There's no cylinder to empty or rinse.

Expert tip

"Let the felt cylinder do the work instead of pressing hard. On a couch, do the cushions first, then the arms and back, and vacuum the floor last to pick up anything you knock loose. A quick pass over dog beds and car seats every week keeps hair from working deep into the fabric."

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my Riccar Prima canister?

No. The Prima's hose is a larger diameter. Prima owners need the Prima Canister Fur-Get-It tool, part RPET-TOOL.CAN.

My R40P came with one. Why buy another?

The R40P and the older R30PET include this tool. A second one is handy to keep in the car or on another floor of the house.

Is this the same as the Simplicity Pet Hair Beware?

Riccar and Simplicity are sister brands, and both sell this squeegee and felt-cylinder design with the same dimensions. Buy the one made for your vacuum's brand: this one for Riccar, the Pet Hair Beware for Simplicity.

Do I need to clean the felt cylinder?

Riccar says the tool cleans itself as you use it. If something larger than hair gets caught, turn the vacuum off and pull it free by hand.
