- Sewing specialists since 1922. We've helped sewists and quilters choose the right machine for more than a century.
- Factory-trained technicians. The people who service Baby Lock machines can help with frame setup, Pro-Stitcher and tension questions, before and after you buy.
- Free shipping on orders over $299. This machine qualifies.
A complete computerized longarm system
- Room for dense quilting. The 20" × 9" workspace gives you more quilting area at each roll of the quilt.
- Computerized quilting built in. Pro-Stitcher's tablet is your control center, with no separate computer needed. Choose from more than 900 built-in designs, fit them into multi-point shapes, or wrap and stagger a pattern into your own pantograph.
- Free-motion when you want it. Disengage Pro-Stitcher and quilt by hand. Cruise mode keeps the needle moving at your set speed, Precision mode lets you make hard pauses, and both hold 4 to 24 stitches per inch.
- A frame sized to your room. The Kinetic frame sets up 10 feet long or as a single 5-foot section, and the optional 2-foot extension makes it 12 or 7 feet. The quilt top adjusts from 33" to 44" high.
- Five rails for easier loading. Separate take-up, idler, backing, quilt top and batting rails snap in and out, and the machine rolls on dual-bearing wheels.
- Everything on a 7-inch touchscreen. Set stitch modes, speed and lighting, read your Quick-Set Tension setting, and move the needle with the on-screen handwheel.
- Handles that fit your grip. The front handlebars adjust and extend independently, with buttons for speed, start/stop and needle up/down. A needle beam marks where the next stitch will land.
Is the Regalia package right for you?
It's the best fit if you quilt often, finish large quilts for yourself or others, and want both hand-guided and computerized quilting on one machine. You'll need a dedicated room for a 10-foot frame.
Good to know before you buy: this system arrives in several boxes. The 88-pound machine takes two people to lift, and Pro-Stitcher installation means mounting a carriage, racks, a tablet and cables, so talk with us about setup before you order. The ruler base, rear handles kit, frame extension, casters and horizontal spool pin are sold separately, as are Baby Lock's cloth leader sets for the Kinetic frame.
- Want frame quilting at a lower price? The Baby Lock Gallant with Villa Frame has a 15-inch workspace, stitch regulation and an 8-foot frame, with computerized quilting as an add-on.
- Short on floor space? The Baby Lock Regent is a sit-down longarm with an 18-inch throat on a 36" × 31-3/4" table.
- Need a machine for piecing, too? The Baby Lock Jazz II has 12 inches of space and 28 stitches for piecing.
Expert tip
"Before your first quilt, make sure the frame is set up for a 20-inch machine, and set the height so your forearms are level when you hold the handles. Then load the backing snug but not drum-tight. Fabric stretched too tight bounces as you quilt and gives you a smaller thread loop, which leads to skipped stitches."

Frequently asked questions
What does Pro-Stitcher do?
It moves the machine for you to stitch built-in designs or designs you load by USB. You can edit, merge, duplicate and crop designs, fit them into multi-point shapes, and build edge-to-edge pantographs. Disengage it any time to quilt by hand.
Do I need a separate computer?
No. Pro-Stitcher's tablet mounts on the machine and runs the system. The Pro-Stitcher Designer software for creating your own designs is Windows-based, so Mac users need a way to run Windows programs.
How much room does the Regalia and Kinetic frame need?
The Kinetic frame sets up 10 feet long, or 12 feet with the optional extension. Leave space to walk around both ends and to stand at the front and back.
What's the difference between the Regalia and the Gallant?
The Regalia has a 20-inch workspace, 2,500 stitches per minute, a 7-inch touchscreen and Quick-Set Tension. The Gallant has a 15-inch workspace, 1,800 stitches per minute, a 1.44-inch display and manual tension.
Can I do ruler work and paper pantographs?
Yes, with add-ons. The Regalia Ruler Base (BLRG20-RB) supports rulers, and the Rear Handles Kit (BLRG20-RHK) adds rear handlebars, a rear display and a laser stylus.
