Good to know before you buy: the machine and embroidery unit together weigh about 40 pounds and need a deep, sturdy table. The creative Embellishment Attachment is an optional extra. Pfaff introduced the Creative Icon 3 in 2026 and still lists the Creative Icon 2.

"Hoop the Grand Dream on a large, flat surface and use the hoop clips to hold the fabric edges to the frame. Before you press start, clear the area behind and to the left of the machine so the embroidery arm can travel freely. Support the extra fabric on the table, too, so its weight doesn't pull on the hoop."
