The mySewnet Embroidery Platinum 2021 Upgrade is the boxed upgrade edition of mySewnet Embroidery Software for Windows and Mac, for owners of a qualifying older version of the software, and moves you up to the full Platinum 2021 toolset: every wizard, full digitizing, the Stitch Editor and Draw & Paint. This is an older 2021 boxed version: mySewnet is now called CREATIVATE, and the software gets maintenance fixes and new hoop support, not new features.

Works with these computers and machines

• Your current software: send us its name and version and we'll confirm it qualifies before you order.
• Windows: Windows 10 or later, 4 GB of RAM, 4 GB of free disk space.
• Mac: macOS 10.15 Catalina or later with an Intel processor (the only kind CREATIVATE lists), 4 GB of RAM, 4 GB of free disk space.
• Both: a 1280 x 720 display and internet access.
• Wi-Fi send to CREATIVATE (formerly mySewnet) enabled machines: PFAFF creative icon 2, creative icon, creative expression 750 and creative expect 350; Husqvarna Viking Designer Epic 3, Designer Epic 2, Designer Epic, Designer Ruby 90, Designer Sapphire 85, Designer Brilliance 80, Designer Quartz 29 and Designer Topaz 65.
• Other embroidery machines: save in your machine's format, such as .vp3 (Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking), .pes (Brother, Baby Lock, Bernina), .jef (Janome) or .dst (Tajima).

The software itself is a download. You need a free CREATIVATE Basic account and an internet connection to activate, download and install it.

How to install it

• Sign in to your CREATIVATE account (formerly your mySewnet account), or create a free one.
• Enter the activation code from the box on CREATIVATE's software activation page.
• Download the Windows or Mac embroidery software from CREATIVATE's Get Software page and install it.
• New computer later? Sign out of the old one under My Account, Machines.

Which software can I upgrade from?

mySewnet offers an upgrade plan from older versions to Embroidery Software 2021, and boxed upgrades go through dealers. Eligibility depends on what you own, so ask us first.

Will it work with my embroidery machine?

Very likely. It saves in all the major home embroidery formats, and CREATIVATE-enabled Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking machines can also receive designs over Wi-Fi.

Does it run on a Mac?

Yes, on Intel Macs, though Sketch is Windows only. CREATIVATE lists only Intel processors, so ask us before ordering for an Apple-silicon Mac.

Is this the newest version?

No. It's the 2021 boxed edition, and mySewnet (now CREATIVATE) has since moved to memberships. Your copy keeps working without one and gets bug fixes and hoop support, not new features.
