The complete pack fits Miele Complete C2 and Complete C3 canister vacuums. Miele rates a HyClean bag at about three months of use in an average home, so the bags can last several years of typical cleaning.
Fits these Miele vacuums
Classic C1 owner? The GN bags fit your vacuum, but the Classic C1 takes the 30-series exhaust filter, so the SF-HA 50 in this pack won't fit. Buy GN 4-packs and an SF-HA 30 HEPA AirClean filter instead.
Not for the Guard M1 or Guard L1. The Guard M1 takes the CO Performance Pack and the Guard L1 the TU Performance Pack.

The HEPA filter replaces the exhaust filter in your Complete C2 or C3. Use only one exhaust filter at a time. Miele's box shows 16 bags and one filter, so motor protection filters aren't included. The GN 4-pack includes one with every four bags.
When to change the bags and filter

Bag: change it when the bag-change indicator turns red.

Pet homes: hair and carpet lint can pack a bag full before the indicator reacts, so check the bag more often.

HEPA filter: Miele says to change it once a year. On models with a filter-change indicator, replace it when the indicator calls for it.
Expert tip
"If you have a Complete C3, don't forget the motor protection filter behind the bag. This pack doesn't include them, so keep spares from a 4-pack on hand and change one about every four bags. A clogged one cuts suction even with a fresh bag."

Frequently asked questions
Will this pack fit my Classic C1?
Only partly. The bags fit, but the SF-HA 50 filter doesn't. Miele lists this pack for the Complete C2 and C3 only, so Classic C1 owners should buy GN 4-packs and a 30-series filter.
Will it fit a Guard M1 or Guard L1?
No. Guard vacuums take Type CO or TU bags. Choose the CO or TU Performance Pack instead.
Is the HEPA filter the same as the SF-HA 50?
Yes. It's Miele's 50-series HEPA AirClean filter, the same one sold separately as the SF-HA 50.
Can I use an odor filter instead of the HEPA filter?
Yes. The Complete C2 and C3 also take the 50-series SF-AA 50 Active AirClean charcoal filter. Use one exhaust filter at a time.
